Do you have grandparents or other family members or friends without school-age children? Ask them to get involved! It’s no extra cost and it helps children – easy sell!

RE-LINK after August 1st, EVERY YEAR!

By linking your Food Lion MVP card to Stough Elementary, you can help us raise money with every Food Lion brand item that you buy. To link your MVP card:

  1. Simply click the link http://foodlionmvprewards.com
  2. Click on ‘Shoppers Register Here!’ and enter in the 12 digit number on your Food Lion MVP card and click SUBMIT (ALL 12 digits, even the little ones on the ends),
  3. Enter in the basic information it asks for
  4. Enter in our school code 214569

Easy as that! NOW, just remember to present your MVP card to the cashier (just like you normally would) when you shop at Food Lion.

If you have any troubles whatsoever, send your MVP card number to me and I’ll link it for you dmartin@pharsite.net. Remember that you do have to RE-LINK your card after August 1st every year.

  1. Go to harristeeter.com/community/together_in_education/link_to_your_school.aspx
  2. Fill out the required information. You’ll need your VIC card number. Our school code is 1263

Easy as that! NOW, just remember to present your VIC card to the cashier (just like you normally would) when you shop at Harris Teeter.

Carolina Hurricanes Discount Tickets

 Click on the link to the left for information about discount tickets for Harris-Teeter customers who show their VIC card. Additionally, $3 of each ticket will be donated to the school of your choice. You must fill out a card and indicate you want the donation to be made to Stough. Mention this to your friends, neighbors and co-workers who frequently attend Hurricanes games.

Join the website to take advantage of awesome coupons, shop the ‘Marketplace’ and track Stough Stallion’s success!

Box Tops

This is a big fund-raiser for our school every year! It’s easy to do and there are classroom competitions in the fall and spring. The winning classroom gets an awesome party with ice cream or dough-nuts or something else! Ms. Goodman’s class won a Chic-filA party last fall! Get the kids involved, and the extended family.

Go to this list to find the list of products that have Box Tops on them. Some may surprise you.

Box Tops Marketplace

PLEASE check this out! By joining the box tops website, you can shop the Marketplace! Buy what you would normally buy online, but shop through Marketplace and earn 3%, 6%, or even 12% for your school! Check out the stores that you can shop at http://www.boxtops4education.com/earn/marketplace/BrowseStores.aspx.

It’s easy:

  1. “Hey, I need to buy online”
  2. Go to http://btfe.com; (register and log in if you haven’t done that already),
  3. Click on ‘earn’ up at the top,
  4. Select ‘shop marketplace’ from the list on the left,
  5. Click on ‘see all stores’ over on the right of the web page
  6. Find your store and shop!

Same prices and any coupons you have still work just the same! So easy a caveman could do it.

Yellow Brick Mall

Click on the link to the left and choose from dozens of online merchants including Amazon, Best Buy, and many others! Stough earns a percentage of each purchase made through the Yellow Brick Mall.

Target

Target’s Take Charge of Education Program

Here’s the deal. If you have a Target Credit Card or a Target Check Card, link it up with Stough Elementary and you earn the school 1% of anything you charge. Here is how you link up:

  1. Go to http://target.com/tcoe
  2. Click on ‘Enroll’
  3. Designate Stough Elementary (code 81096)
  4. Enter your REDcard information,

Corporate Volunteer Grants

If you or your spouse work at Glaxo, Cisco or SAS and volunteer a certain amount of hours at Stough these companies will make donations to the school. Grants are typically up to $500 per year, depending on the number of volunteer hours. Contact your company for details, and let our PTA treasurer Carol Collins know about your plans to participate.
